Obioma Onyeador Foundation: The Vision, The Promise

Obioma Onyeador Foundation was founded on the faith and life of a young woman who did not allow neither the limited time she had in this world or the cold hands of untimely death to hamper the passion in her heart. As if she knew that her time on Earth was coming to an end, she ensured that someone was able to continue her ministry to serve the widows, orphans, and the underserved. She made the call detailing the intentions of her charity at about 2 a.m. our U.S. time, and kept me awake to take up this mission project. Although I was a bit confused at the beginning of the endeavor, it made sense to me two days after her passing. In her own way, she was telling me to go forth and never let go of her deep conviction and understanding that people need as much physical help as they needed spiritual help. Her burning desire to provide the ability to meet both needs is the backbone of the Obioma Onyeador Foundation today.

This became my introduction to the outreach that was founded by my sister, Mrs. Obioma Beatrice Onyeador. Obioma believed that whenever and wherever there was a need, there was a way to resolve it. Hungry people need to be fed. Prostitutes rescued need an alternate source of livelihood. Ex-convicts need to reenter the workforce to ensure that they stay away from repeating their crimes. The unemployed need help to find work or enlightenment and retraining for jobs that can help them make a decent living.

Obioma's beliefs form the foundation of the mission that the orphans not only need food, but their education is very important. There is need to provide medical support for the elderly without support, widows, single parents, just to mention a few. the campaign is to raise the necessary funds and awareness to improve mankind and influence the social climate of the entire nation of Nigeria.

We started this foundation in California, giving scholarships to a total of 11 teenagers who demonstrated excellent academic performance despite all odds and devoted their time to kingdom worship and serving as it was meant to be.

My sister Obioma's main idea was to reach the world, not the crowd. She saw the sinful habit of reciprocity-based giving. My sister specifically asked me to focus on the ones that will not thank me or even be able to say thank you. Unfortunately, she did not have the chance to carry out her vision. I know that if she could see how her plans have manifested, she'd smile down on me, saying, "So you finally brought it home."

In our charitable work, our goal is to feed, clothe, and educate orphans, save millions, feed the hungry, free people trapped in slavery, and spreading God's unconditional love and saving grace to millions. I encourage everyone from all walks of Earth to work with all of us. Together, we can achieve our goal and ensue the spirit of my sister blesses those most deserving for years to come.

May the good Lord bless you,

Tina Ezumah

Areas of Practice

Academic scholarships

Starting in 2013, we gave book scholarship awards for students attending King/Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, CA. this is to ensure the continued pursuit of higher education by students from underrepresented communities who demonstrate academic excellence against all odds and commit time to leadership positions in the church ministry.

aid in Nigeria

The Obioma Onyeador Foundation supports various initiatives in the founder's home country of Nigeria. Since 2014, we have supported underserved communities in the nation, including, but not limited to:

  • orphanages

  • schools for the blind

  • widows

  • ministers stationed in remote areas

  • immobile seniors

  • human trafficking victims

  • HIV/AIDS afflicted persons

  • formerly incarcerated

Moving forward, the Foundation aims to build shelters in the more rural parts of the country that will support a hunger prevention station and safe habitation for local dwellers.

DISEASE PREVENTON & HEALTH PROMOTION

Chief operated by Tina Ezumah, a 20-plus year nursing veteran, health and wellness is a focal point of the Obioma Onyeador Foundation's founding principles. The organization promotes continued education and promotion for health professionals in local communities. We also provide health counseling and consultation for low-income residents in underserved communities.

MINISTRY

The call of ministry is one the Obioma Onyeador Foundation seeks to uphold and support. Ministers who dedicate themselves to service rural and remote areas are in dire need of monetary and material assistance to maintain the Lord's work to those who need it the most. Obioma Onyeador Foundation is dedicated to funding their efforts
